Controlling your personal information

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

To satisfy our insurance requirements we require you to provide the following documentation.  

1. Current Drivers Licence - If the licence is your current address then we only need 1 item from No 3 below and if the licence address is not your current address then we will require 2 items from the list in No 3 below. 

2. An 8 digit code from DVLA to allow us to access your information on-line when you arrive - This code is an alpha numeric code and must clearly indicate any upper and lower case characters. The code can be obtained from the DVLA website at  or Telephone 0300 790 6801

Providing your National Insurance Number prior to collection may speed up checkout if you have difficulty obtaining a code. 

3. A proof of address which has been posted through your letter box from an established institution in the last 3 months.

4. A signed bank card or credit card in the drivers name. Or a current passport. 

Non UK Citizens are required to produce a current passport from their country of origin.  

No refunds will be given if you fail to provide the above documentation.  

A deposit will be required to be taken from a bank or credit card in the drivers name. This is taken as a pre authorisation and will affect the funds in the account for 9 -10 working days depending on your bank.       

European Licenses with the EU symbol are fine without an International license. IDP's are intended for the purpose of translation. The onus is on the Renter to provide a translation to confirm all our Insurance Risk questions.


Certain minor endorsements are acceptable to our insurers. Please advise our reception staff of all endorsements when making your reservation so that they can be validated prior to the rental.


All UK residents must be able to produce a second proof of address, in the form of a utility bill or bank statement, not more than three months old, in name of the main hirer. International hirers must be able to produce a passport and valid credit card in the name of the main hirer.

Age Limits

Drivers must be aged over 21 and under 70 years old. Drivers over 70 may be considered after referring their details to our insurance company.

Additional Drivers

We can authorize as many drivers as you require at an additional charge.


All of our vehicles are fully comprehensively insured. Our policy carries a maximum excess of up to £750.00 for which the driver may be held liable if any damage is deemed to have been his/her responsibility. This excess can be reduced to paying a collision damage waiver.


All vehicles are supplied with at least 1/4 tank of fuel. Vehicles requiring to be refuelled will have the fuelling cost, charged at our current rate, deducted from the returnable deposit. No refunds will be given for vehicles returned with excess fuel.


The estimated cost of the rental and optional Collision Damage Waiver is payable at the time of collection along with a £100 deposit which must be paid by card in the drivers name.


All the prices quoted are inclusive of VAT.


The Customer is liable for all penalties incurred during the rental period including, but not restricted to, parking, clamping, bus lane and speeding fines, congestion and compound charges and in addition when the Company has to provide the Customer’s details to the authority levying such penalty, or it remains unpaid the Customer shall also be charged an administration in addition to the actual cost of the penalty.

Mileage Charges

The excess mileage charge for cars and standard transit vans is 15p per mile. Luton vans are charged at 25p per mile.

Insurance Excess

Our maximum insurance excess is £750.

Refunds & Cancellation Policy

All cancellations are subject to a minimum admin fee of £10.

Transit Vans and Cars

No refund will be given for cancellations made within 48 hours of the hire start time, bookings on Saturdays & Sundays, and special dates unless we can re-hire the vehicle to cover the original booking times and recoup the hire charge. In which case we will only charge the minimum admin fee of £10

Hire dates with more than 48 hours notice can be changed once with no charge, thereafter an admin fee of £5 per change will apply.

Luton Vans

No refunds will be given for cancellations of any Luton vans with less than 90 days notice.
